Tiramisu Recipe

Tiramisu Recipe Ingredients:
  • 6 Egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/3 cup Brandy
  • 1/3 cup Coffee
  • 1 pound Mascarpone
  • 1  1/2 cups Whipping Cream
  • 3/4 cup Extra-Strong Coffee
  • 24 giant Italian Ladyfingers
  • 100g / 4 ounces Semisweet
  • Chocolate finely chopped

Tiramisu Recipe
Time: 24 hours
Serves: 8-10

Tiramisu Recipe Instructions:
  • Beat egg yolks in a bowl with sugar until light about 4 min.
  • Mix 1/4 cup each of brandy and Coffee. Transfer to double boiler over gently simmering water.
  • whisk for about 6 minutes or until thickened. Let cool.
  • Mix cheese until smooth then fold in egg mixture.
  •  Whip cream into cheese mixture.
  • Fold in remaining cream. Combine coffee and remaining brandy and Coffee.
    Arrange half of the ladyfingers in 11-x 7-inch glass baking dish then brush with half of the coffee mixture.
  • Spread with half of the cream mixture.
    Repeat layers. Top with chocolate.
    Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Tiramisu Recipe Cooking Time:
  • Prep time will vary.
  • Refrigerator for 24 hours before serving.
Tiramisu Recipe Serving Instructions:
  • Serve with Double Cream, Fresh Cream or even Ice Cream
  • Refrigerator for 24 hours before serving.
