Pumpkin Pie Recipe

Pumpkin Pie Recipe Ingredients:
  • 1 pastry recipe for 9 inch pie crust
  • 2 cups (480ml) milk, scalded
  • 2 cups (450g) pumpkin, cooked and strained (or plain canned pumpkin)
  • 1 cup (240ml) maple syrup
  • 1/8 cup (30g) sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. ginger
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg (optional)
  • 2 large eggs, beaten

Pumpkin Pie Recipe
Time:1hr 30m
Serves: 8

Pumpkin Pie Recipe Instructions:
  • Heat the oven to 425 degrees F or 220 degrees C
  • Line pie tin with pastry
  • Mix all ingredients together and pour into pastry case
  • Place on a baking sheet.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour. Remove from oven and put on a wire rack and leave to cool.
Pumpkin Pie Recipe Cooking Time:
  • Cooking time 1 hour.
  • Leave to cool before serving.
Pumpkin Pie Recipe Serving Instructions:
  • Serve with Cream, Ice Cream, or Custard.
  • Can be served Hot or cold
