Prime Rib Recipe

Prime Rib Recipe Ingredients:
  • 1 Prime Rib Roast - any size, Must be at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup Kosher Salt
  • 1/4 cup Rosemary
  • 1/4 cup Horseradish Powder
  • 1/4 cup Garlic Powder
  • 1/8 cup Cracked Black Pepper.

Prime Rib Recipe
Time: 2 hours
Serves: 4

Prime Rib Recipe Instructions:
  • Mix seasonings and rub on and into Prime Rib.
  • Preheats the oven to 375F.
  • Put Prime Rib in broiling pan the fat side up or bone side up.
  • Cook for 45 minutes.
  • Turn oven off, and do not open the door.
  • One hour before serving, turn oven back on 45 minutes.
  • Remove Prime Rib from the oven and leave to stand for 15 minutes.
  • Remove the salty shell by scraping it off. The very top of  meat will be very salty, But all the meat underneath will be fine.
  • Carve into slices and serve.
Prime Rib Recipe Cooking Time:
  • Cooking time in total 2 hours.
  • Allow to cool a little before serving.
Prime Rib Recipe Serving Instructions:
  • Serve with au jus and horseradish sauce.
  • Serve with your choice of vegetables.
