Jello Pudding Recipe

Jello Pudding Recipe Ingredients:
  • 4 level teaspoons Gelatine
  • 3 tablespoons hot Water
  • 50g / 2oz caster Sugar
  • 1 level teaspoon finely grated Lemon rind
  • 600ml / 1 pint Milk
  • Yellow food colouring

Serves: 4

Jello Pudding Recipe Instructions:
  • Put the hot water and the gelatine in a basin and stir over heat until the gelatine has dissolved.
  • Put the lemon rind, milk and sugar into a saucepan and heat on a low heat until the sugar has dissolved.
  • When the gelatine and milk are both lukewarm mix together by pouring the milk slowly onto the gelatine.
  • Stir well and then add yellow food colouring so the mixture has a pale yellow tint to it.
  • Pour into a ¾ litre or 1½ pint mould that had been rinsed with cold just before.
  • Leave in a cool place until set.
