Free and Easy Irish Stew Recipe |
Irish Stew Recipe Ingredients:- 8 small Lamb Chops
- Salt and Pepper
- 1 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
- Parsley, Bay Leaves, Peppercorns, Thyme, Rosemary
- 1 lb Potatoes
- 2 cup finely shredded Cabbage
- 1 med Onion - chopped
- 1 lg Leek White thinly sliced
- 12 small White Onions
- 1 1/2 cup Celery Stalks - Diced
- 1 1/2 cup Peas
- Chopped Fresh Parsley
|  Time: 1 hour 30 min Serves: 4

Irish Stew Recipe Instructions:- Season the chops with salt and pepper.
- Heat oil in saucepan wide enough to hold all chops.
- Brown on both sides.
- Drain off any melted fat and add water to cover chops.
- Bring to the boil and then add parsley, bay leaf, peppercorns, thyme and rosemary enclosed in a cheesecloth.
- Reduce heat and simmer.
- Quarter the potatoes then add potatoes, cabbage, onion, well-rinsed leek, white onions and celery to chops and liquid.
- Simmer 20 minutes then put the peas in.
- Put more water if needed during cooking.
- Simmer 10 minutes more or until potatoes are tender.

Irish Stew Recipe Cooking Time:- Cooking time is 1 hour 30 minutes.
- Allow to cool before serving.

Irish Stew Recipe Serving Instructions:- Garnish with parsley.
- Serve with fresh Vegetables and Bread of your choice.
