Biscotti Recipe

Biscotti Recipe Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1 small package 3oz Cream Cheese
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 4 Eggs
  • 3 cups Flour
  • 1 tablespoon Baking Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 teaspoons Anise Seeds

Biscotti Recipe
Time:1hr 30m
Serves: 2

Biscotti Recipe Instructions:
  • Combine butter and cream cheese together then gradually add sugar and beat thoroughly.
  • Mix in eggs one at a time and continue beating until light and fluffy.
  • In a Mixing bowl combine the dry ingredients and anise seeds then stir into creamed mixture.
  • Divide dough in to 2 then place on a lightly greased baking sheet.
  • Make into two rolls the length of the baking sheet and 1 1/2 inches wide.
  • Bake at 350° 30 to 35 minutes, or until light brown.
  • Take out of the oven then cut rolls crosswise into slices about 3/4 inch thick.
  • Put on baking sheets cut side down.
  • Put back into the oven and bake 10 minutes, or until crisp.
Biscotti Recipe Cooking Time:
  • Cooking time 45 minutes.
  • Allow to cool before serving.
Biscotti Recipe Serving Instructions:
  • Serve with Tea or Coffee.
