Banana Pudding Recipe

Banana Pudding Recipe Ingredients:
  • 1/3 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • Dash of Salt
    2 1/2 cups low-fat Milk
  • 1 14oz can fat-free Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 2 large Egg Yolks
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 3 cups sliced Ripe Banana, divided
  • 45 Vanilla Wafers, divided
  • 4 large Egg Whites at room temperature
  • 1/4 cup Sugar

Banana Pudding Recipe
Time: 1 hour
Serves: 10

Banana Pudding Recipe Instructions:
  • Heat oven to 325° and mix flour and slat in a medium saucepan.
  • Slowly add milks and the egg yolks; stir together well and Cook over medium heat for about 8 minutes or when thick, stirring constantly.
  • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
  • Put 1 cup of banana slices in bottom of a 2-quart baking dish.
  • Spoon one-third of pudding mixture over banana. Then arrange 15 wafers on top of pudding.
  • Repeat this twice so you have 2 layers.
  •  then Arranging the last 15 wafers around edge of dish.
  • Beat egg whites at in a mixer until foamy.
  • Slowly add sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, beating until stiff peaks form.
  • Spread meringue evenly over pudding, covering to edge of dish.
  • Cook at 325° for 25 minutes or until golden.
  • Let cool at least 30 minutes before serving.

  • Cooking time 25 min.
  • Leave for at least 30min before serving.
Banana Pudding Recipe Serving Instructions:
  • Serve with Cream.
