Apple Crisp Recipe

  
Apple Crisp Recipe Ingredients:
  • 3 pounds Tart Apples
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1/3 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/3 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/3 cup Rolled Oats
  • 4 tablespoons butter or 1/2 stick
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Walnuts

Apple Crisp Recipe
Time: 45 min
Serves: 6

Apple Crisp Recipe Instructions:
  • Peel and core then chop apples put  in a bowl with lemon juice this will prevent them darkening.
  • In a separate bowl, Mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg and stir into apples then set aside.
  • In another bowl mix flour, sugar and oats Then cut butter into 8 pieces.
  • Mix the butter into flour until mixture looks like crumbs then mix in the nuts.
  • Butter a 10 X 10-inch baking dish. Spread apples in bottom of baking dish then sprinkle with flour mixture.
  • Bake at 375° for 30 to 45 minutes, or until apples are tender and topping is nicely browned.
Apple Crisp Recipe Cooking Time:
  • Cooking time 45 min.
  • Leave to cool before serving
Apple Crisp Recipe Serving Instructions:
  • Serve with Ice Cream, Cream or even Custard.
  • Can be eaten hot or cold or even warm you chose.
