Apple Pie Recipe

 Apple Pie Recipe Ingredients:
  • 1 pastry recipe for a 2 x 9 inch pie crusts
  • 5 large Granny Smith Apples, peeled, cored and sliced
  • 1/2 cup white Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • Add Cloves if required

Dutch Apple Pie Recipe
Time: 1 hour
Serves: 8

 Apple Pie Recipe Instructions:
  • Heat the oven to 425 degrees F or 220 degrees C
  • Line pie tin with pastry
  • Mix ½ a cup of sugar with 2 tablespoons of flour.
  • Pour over apples
  • Sprinkle lemon juice on top
  • Add Cloves if required
  • Cover apple pie with pastry
  • Brush pastry with melted butter
  • Place on a baking sheet.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour. Remove from oven and put on a wire rack and leave to cool.
 Apple Pie Recipe Cooking Time:
  • Cooking time 1 hour.
  • leave to cool before serving.
 Apple Pie Recipe Serving Instructions:
  • Serve with Cream, Ice Cream, or Custard.
  • Can be served Hot or cold
